The process of creating custom furniture is very similar to custom painting:

  • initial consultation

  • color choices

  • design options

  • demo panels

  • final completion

(See "Commissions - Painting" for more detailed information.)

The main difference is whether you have an existing piece you want me to recreate or if I need to locate one for you.  Prices and the time frame will differ depending upon these details, but I should be able to give you a quote before any work actually begins.

Texture usually is not a factored in a furniture piece because several clear coats of a thick counter top resin will be used to protect the artwork and make your piece withstand common use for years to come. This Countertop Resin allows your piece to be:

  • UV Protected

  • Eco Friendly (safe to eat and cook on)

  • Heat resistant (up to 500F)

  • Very Durable

If you have a piece of furniture that you have grown tired of, then think about having it redone.  Painting the top or parts of it can really change the whole look of your piece without the extreme cost of replacing it.  Contact me to discuss the many options available.

If you are looking for a particular piece or type of furniture that you would love to order my artwork on, but I don't currently have it in stock, then just let me know.  I will try to locate one for you so that you can custom order the design, look and colors to match your style and decor.
